Apple is seeking a price cut of nearly 10% for Samsung's OLED displays

Apple is reportedly seeking a price cut from Samsung on the price of OLED panels. Apple’s first device to sport an OLED display, the iPhone X, has so far seen much weaker demand than initially anticipated, which has forced Apple to cut orders by up to 50%. One of the main reasons behind this, unsurprisingly, is reportedly the high price of the smartphone.

Now, despite recent reports that claimed Apple’s next flagship devices would be even more expensive than the company’s current iPhone X, Apple appears to be negotiating a near-10% price cut with Samsung in the hope of cutting costs which, …

In the UK, Europe, and South Africa, Wileyfox’s Android phones are once again being offered for sale from the manufacturer’s re-opened website.

Also on the Wileyfox website, you’ll find the Wileyfox Pro. This is a Windows 10 Mobile powered handset that was launched late last year. The manufacturer promises to …

Microsoft has finally sold every Windows 10 Mobile device

Alas, Microsoft has finally sold all of its Windows 10 Mobile devices. Microsoft released its last self-designed Lumia phone some time ago. Over the last year or so, they had only third party devices in their Microsoft Store. Mostly this was limited to the Alcatel Idol 4S and the HP Elite x3. the last few months have seen both of these phones go on sale including the HP dock bundle. In the last several days, some lucky (or unlucky?) customers purchased the last of the company’s hardware stock and they are now sold out. Of course you can still purchase these phones on auction sites, Amazon …

Instagram reappears on Windows 10 mobile

It lives! Well, sorta. It appears after a short absence, Instagram has re-emerged on Microsoft’s dying (dead?) mobile platform. As we reported several days ago, the Universal Windows app for Instagram was updated to v.30 and the Mobile platform was dropped. It has since reappeared for Windows 10 mobile, but as v.10 which is an older version of the software. It is reported that users have lost some of the upgrades (which weren’t numerous to begin with), but are now able to access the site via app again.

What does it all mean?

It most likely …

Microsoft Store removes Instagram app for Windows 10 Mobile

There are many ways to say that the party is really over. You can stop providing beverages and food, you can flick the lights on and off, scream at the top of your lungs for everyone to “GET OUT,” or you can remove Instagram for Windows 10 Mobile from the Microsoft Store. A recent update to Instagram for Windows 10 to version 30.1569.12133.0 added some new features, but removed the option to install the app on handsets running the mobile version of the OS. It still is available for the desktop version of Windows 10.

Instead of the app, Windows 10 Mobile users can try the Instagram mobile …

Being a seasoned veteran in the mobile space, having accumulated a diversified portfolio of phones, the South Korean company has seen its fair share of ups and downs – but through it all, they’ve managed to remain relevant, something that can’t be said about everyone!

Many will argue that they still fall under the shadow of Samsung, always trying to catch …
