Moto X4 on Project Fi starts getting Android 8.0 Oreo update

Despite being released in October, after Google released Android 8.0 Oreo, Motorola’s Moto X4 smartphone was launched with Android 7.1 Nougat on board. However, the US-based handset maker promised an Android Oreo update will be provided soon afterward.

Although it took Motorola more than two months to keep its promise, Android Oreo for Moto X4 on Project Fi is here, so if you’ve bought that device, you should expect an update to arrive any day now.
