The LG G6 has a huge burden. After the LG G5’s failed attempt at offering modular accessories (and the subsequent success of the Moto Z’s modular build), the new flagship needs to present something that will make consumers reach for the phone. Power users, smartphone fans and general tech fanatics might want to wait for the Samsung Galaxy S8 to be launched, especially since that handset will be powered by the new Snapdragon 835 chipset. The LG G6 will sport the Snapdragon 821 SoC that is currently in use by a few top shelf models.
