Google Pixel 2/2 XL audio distortion issue in video recordings fixed in Android 8.1 DP2

Google’s latest Pixel phones are some of the hottest Android flagships in town, but their commercial release has been marred by quite a few issues. One problem that still irritates some owners is a distortion of audio in video playback. Google acknowledged the problem back in late October and promised to resolve it with a software fix.
